Celebrate

Shit, yesterday was International Polar Bear Day and I dind’t even celebrate. Talking of which, what’s happened to The Bag of Bears? Has he closed down?

I’m still here. Dissertation finished. Now recovering. Lots to comment on. Another idiotic report on equal pay. Another reduction in liberty (what, you need links for these things?). Loads of great stuff on europhobia, curious hamster, etc. etc.

I’ll be back some time soon.

Or possibly floats…

Polar bears are drowning and turning cannibal because of the melting ice floes.

The campaign to get them each a yacht starts here. Then we’d have a polar bear flotilla.

The right to…

Anyone who knows me knows my love for our ursine brethren (’the man who walks on four legs’). So this ignored story dismayed me. Protections on grizzlies in and around Yellowstone are to be lifted, potentially allowing hunting to start once again.

Now, I have nowt against hunting per se. I just think it needs to be made fairer. How? Simple. Arm the bears first. Give them a chance to play with automatic weapons. Never mind the right to bear arms, what about the right to arm bears?
